Monsters
Werewolf
Loyalty, volume, and a bit of weather. Your walk became a run, your argument became a hug, and you will go with a lost friend the whole way home.

Strengths
- You are fiercely loyal and will defend your people.
- You bring energy, warmth and a lot of noise to any gathering.
- You get people dancing, running and laughing.
- You are honest about your feelings, even the big ones.
- You recover fast and forgive faster.
Next level
- Pause before reacting when the full moon of a feeling rises.
- Make space for the quiet ones in your pack.
- Rest properly between the wild nights.
Your natural habitat
Outdoors, under a big sky. A forest path, a windy hill, a beach in winter. You like wind you can lean on and weather that makes you feel alive.
You are happiest moving: a walk that turns into a run, a hike with friends, a swim in cold water, a game of football in the park. Indoors you need space and food, and lots of both. Your home is warm, a bit chaotic, full of muddy boots and people dropping in. You have a coat that survives a hedge. The full moon, slightly too bright, is your moon, and on those nights you feel restless in a way that only a long walk and a big meal can fix.
Your powers
Loyalty. In folklore the werewolf is bound to the pack, and you are bound to yours. Friends, family, teammates: you will go the whole way with them, carry their bags and fight their corner.
You get people dancing. At a party you are the energy, the volume and the reason the night goes late. You are physical and brave, and you are first to help when someone needs a lift, a hand or a hug. You are honest, sometimes loudly, and people always know where they stand with you. You argue loudly, then you hug. You do not hold grudges. Your instincts are good, and you trust them, and you are usually right.
How you love and befriend
With your whole heart, and fast. You make friends easily, and you keep them by turning up: for the move, the breakup, the birthday and the hospital visit.
You show love with time and presence. An invitation to come along is your favourite gift to give. You love big dinners, group trips and nights that go on until morning. In romance you are passionate, protective and playful, and you need a partner who can handle a bit of weather. You are not subtle about your feelings, and people love that. Your friends feel safe with you, because they know you would run through a forest at midnight to find them.
Your weakness, and how to use it
The old stories make the full moon the werewolf's weakness. Yours is the full moon of a feeling: anger, excitement, worry or joy rising faster than you can manage it.
You can be impulsive. You say the thing before thinking it, you react before you listen, and you sometimes need to apologise for the noise. You also forget to rest, then crash. Use this. Your big feelings are a strength when you aim them well. When you feel the moon rising, go for a run, a walk or a swim before you speak. You will say the same thing, but you will say it better. And your pack will trust you even more.
How to lean in this Halloween
Go outside. A moonlit walk through woods, a bonfire with friends, a night hike with torches and hot chocolate. Check the moon calendar and plan around the full one if you can.
Host the loud party. Music, dancing, a big pot of chilli and a costume competition. Wear something that survives a hedge. Bring the energy, and get the quietest guest on the dance floor. Then take a morning after for rest: a long sleep, a big breakfast, a slow walk with the dog. Being a werewolf at its best is about loyalty, joy and a wild heart that knows when to come home. Run free, then rest well.
